Since 1982 we've lived in a beautiful valley in the rain shadow of British Columbia's Coastal Mountains. We are a community committed to simplicity, sustainability and spirituality. Saranagati enjoys the opulence of great neighbors: meet them and the home they've created and see how they've solved the challenges of living "off the gird" and away from urban and suburban life.
Simple living and high thinking means:

In Saranagati we find time to ask the basic questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is my aim in life and how can I achieve it? Although all the answers may not always be as clear as we would like, individually and as a community we are dedicated to searching for those answers. Moving Forward: Bringing water to a blossoming community Now the residents of Saranagati are ready for the next stage: bringing ample water to the valley so that the abundant gifts of the land will be further realized. With this water, 300 acres will be available to farm, protect cows, create electricity, open more economic opportunities, attract more residents and allow the community to receive many more visitors for seminars, retreats and festivals.
